🧠 What You'll Learn: Join us for this fun, practical introduction to crochet! You'll leave with new skills, finished projects, and the confidence to continue crafting on your own.  Each week’s  project is designed to be completed during class time with minimal homework.

Week 4 (October 23) Mixed Stitches Granny Squares

During this class, students will learn the following skills: combining different stitches, working in the round, stitch placement accuracy, and square construction. Along with newly learned crochet skills, students will leave with a traditional granny square (great for hot pads) and the confidence to tackle your next crochet adventure. Be sure to read the required materials list below.

🧩 Skill Level/Age Range:  Beginner/ 8+

📃 Student Instructions:  Bring your own yarn and crochet kit (see below).

🔨 Materials Needed:  Students must bring their own: size H crochet hook, small scissors, yarn needle, yarn, supply bag, stitch markers (optional), and notebook for note taking.

Amount: 80-100 yards (less than 1 skein)

Weight: Worsted Weight 4 or DK Weight

Type: Red Heart Super Saver (364 yards per skein), Lion Brand Hometown USA, or Caron Simply Soft (315 yards per skein)
