This workshop is all about play, experimentation, and "happy accidents." Use your prints for collage, cards, or mixed-media art—the possibilities are endless!
Part 1: March 7th
Understanding Materials: Get cozy with your Gelli plate, brayer (the roller!), and acrylics.
Basic & Advanced Techniques: Master the perfect "pull" and learn the magic of "ghost prints"—those beautiful, soft second impressions.
Layering & Texture: Build depth using found objects like bubble wrap and leaves to create patterns that pop.
Part 2: March 14
Advanced Layering: Take your textures to the next level with complex, multi-dimensional designs.
Image Transfer: The "cool factor"—learn how to lift images and drawings directly onto your plate for stunning custom prints.
🧩 Skill Level/Age Range: All Levels/ 12+ (ages 12-14 must be accompanied by an adult)
📃 Student Instructions: Bring your curiosity! Feel free to pack any personal stamps, stencils, or cool found objects you’d like to experiment with.
🔨Materials Needed: All materials are provided by the instructor. Just show up and create! (Though you’re welcome to bring your own special papers or "found treasures" to add a personal touch).
