🏫 Location: NBA&I Center for Creativity, 1533 Bendigo Blvd North, North Bend, WA
💰 Price: $40
🧠 What You'll Learn: In this class you will try out styles you have seen in the course of your visual perusing and find new ways to express yourself in your sketchbook. Using two images of elk, one a portrait, the other, full body, you will draw, sketch and paint it four times. In each case, you will find a new approach to this same subject with a different medium, tools and even various substrates. Sometimes stretching is a little scary and certainly challenging but together we can push to reach for new creative heights. Exercises for our creative muscles can not only stretch and challenge us, but lead to brand new discoveries about materials, tools and supplies that broaden our expression in our nature sketchbooks. This class will provide you with instructions that are guaranteed to unleash your own creativity and imagination, finding new ways to express yourself using a variety of materials.
🧩 Skill Level/Age Range: Beginner to Intermediate/ 13+
📃 Student Instructions: Students are welcome to bring their own sketchbook to use in class if they prefer. Also, students will be provided links to four easy-to-follow demonstration and instructional videos (just over one hour) that review the course content.
🔨 Materials Needed: All materials will be supplied by the instructor.
